Tour Highlights

Ascension Homes: Three renovated single family houses in Govans operating as group homes for 20 individuals with chronic mental illnesses.

CARES (Civic and Religious Emergency Services): A food pantry, emergency financial assistance center (preventing evictions and utility shut-offs), and job mentoring (Career Connection) and search program.

Epiphany House: Our 33-unit renovated pre-civil war hotel now housing low-income seniors age 62 and older or age 55 and older with a disability.

Harford House: A 26-unit Single Room Occupancy (SRO) permanent residence for men who were homeless. Counselors assist residents in achieving and maintaining postive goals.

Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Senior Housing at Gallagher Mansion: This is a renovated historic mansion with 40 housing units for low income elderly people.

Micah House: A 33-unit SRO permanent residence for men and women who were homeless, with counseling to help residents succeed with ambitious new goals.

Stadium Place: An affordable retirement community on the site of the former Memorial Stadium, designed for 500 elderly residents with independent apartments for rent, the Green House® Residences, a Village Center and ThanksGiving Place.
