ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
GEOGRAPHIC RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS
Individuals and families living in Baltimore City only, in the Zip Code areas 21210, 21212, 21239, and 21218 from 33rd Street north to the city limit line are eligible to apply for services.

Individuals and families living outside the above geographic area may apply for services if they obtain a reference letter from one of the GEDCO Member Organizations.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
To be interviewed for Food Pantry assistance, applicants must provide a photo ID, Social Security card for each member of the household for whom help is sought, and proof of their Baltimore City address (such as a recent bill, postmarked within the last two months, mailed to the person at that address).
To be interviewed for Emergency Financial Assistance, applicants must bring, along with the proof of residency noted above, a utility cut-off notice, an eviction notice from the court, and/or a medical prescription to be filled.
PLEASE NOTE:
In order to provide equal service to as many people as possible:
Food Pantry assistance is limited to once every 30 days per household
Emergency Financial Assistance is limited to once every 6 months per household.
