housing for women and men who are mentally disabled
ASCENSION HOMES

Ascension Homes
is comprised of three renovated single family houses operating as group homes for 20 individuals with chronic mental illnesses.  Opened in 1998 by an interfaith partnership of neighborhood churches, the houses are well-integrated into their surrounding communities.

Each house offers its residents a nurturing, supportive setting in which they learn to function as independently as possible in the community.  All of the residents are engaged in day programs that help them with living skills while providing a safe environment.

Ascension Homes offers permanent housing in a true home setting that gives people the security of stability and the emotional support that all humans need.
Specific support services, such as residential counselors, are available on site.
